Welcome to Fred's Uberview

Hi all. So, this is my blog ;) I found out that I really like to write, and that I find myself involved in conversations where folks are very opinionated, everything from which operating system to use (I'm a tech-IT-geek), to politics, to religion.

I'm a science-loving, secular humanist, Linux using, political liberal, opinionated type that likes to write. Perhaps a bad combination, no?

Anyway, I think I'll start with some interesting problems I run into using Linux and my solutions. I often find myself on similar pages, where I copy the solutions that other's provide - it's a great way to learn.

You can check back here for political ramblings from my point of view, with some tech news and stuff thrown in. My writing style tends to cycle from egotistical preaching to self deprecation to casual laid back, almost random, gibberish.
